The breeders responsibility

In cat breeding there are different, vehemently negative and also gratifying, absolutely defensible opinions. Therefore discussions are useful. Of course people have different views and perceptions concerning cat breeding.

Here I tell you (rudimental) my view of these things. Those who would like to know more may contact me with pleasure.

Apart of the fact that the choice of cats must be well-considered is the health of those also a decisive criterion. These are test results (eg. HCM, PKD, HD) which decide whether the respective animal is suited for breeding. This is the same for all breeds.

There must be an angel...

Therefore  I never give cats in solitary confinement, it would be emotionally disturbing and hard for them. It doesn't matter if it is a pedigree cat or a normal house cat.

Therefore no cats are given in a home that is not secure enough. My animals enjoy the outdoor run, come into the house and go out whenever they want to. However an outdoor enclosure or a secured balcony is needed. Simply for the protection of the animals.

Therefore all kittens leave me completely inoculated, chipped, with the EU-Vaccination card and neutered.

I have decided on early neutering because the advantages for the kitten are clearly obvious. You receive a small carefree-allround parcel and don't have to worry about the anaesthesia or any other eventualities. We are speaking here of a living beeing, thats why we never say never. Everything is possible - and it can only be of benefit for every cat lover not to be in a position for this responsibility, which gives him from the very first day time for cuddling and spoiling his kitten.
